My work flows between the traditional and the experimental, always with a focus on adorning the fashionably modern

Artist Statement

My designs often explore abstract themes, drawing inspiration from the natural world and archaeology. I’m captivated by the meeting of land and water, the slow forces of erosion, and the intricate patterns of topographic lines. I seek out both local and distant places, natural and decayed, to fuel the creative process behind my jewelry.  Working with new and recycled sterling silver, karat gold, gemstones, and Tyvek, I use traditional jewelry-making techniques alongside laser cutting and CAD design. My goal is to craft pieces that evoke a sense of place, acting as personal symbols that remind you of your own special somewhere.
